Coffeyville Fire Leaves Two in Critical Condition

 Two people are injured in a Coffeyville apartment fire.

 Just before 1pm on Monday, fire crews were dispatched to 705 Hibbard in coffeyville for a Building Fire. While En-route crews were updated via dispatch, that a victim had jumped from a 2nd-story window. Fire crews arrived on scene to heavy smoke showing from the 2nd story apartment and began a search. Witnesses told firefighters that more victims remained inside the apartment. Fire crews entered the apartment and located a female patient inside a bedroom. The two victims were treated at the scene by Coffeyville Regional Medical Center EMS and taken to the hospital. They were later life flighted to Tulsa in critical condition. Off-duty Firefighters, South Coffeyville, Dearing, and Coffeyville Resources Fire Departments responded. Coffeyville Police Department, Coffeyville Light & Power and CRMC EMS also assisted. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the Kansas State Fire Marshals Office and the Coffeyville Police Department.
