Kansas Turnpike Authority Announces Video Contest for Kansas Teens

The Kansas Turnpike Authority is looking for creative Kansas teens to help the Put the Breaks on Fatalities.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death for U.S. teens. To help shine the spotlight on this, KTA launched a young driver safety campaign as school resumes that includes a video contest Teens can submit videos between six and sixty seconds in length that promote fatality prevention using themes such as distracted driving, speeding, seat belt use or other topics of driver safety. Prizes will be given for the top three winners based on creativity, the clarity of the safety message, and the overall quality of work. The 1st place winning video will receive a $500 Amazon gift card. Submissions will be accepted starting on September 5th. For a complete list of rules and prizes, see the KTA website.
