Two are injured in a single-vehicle accident west of Chanute.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Chance Hansen of El Dorado was driving a 2014 Dodge Dart eastbound on 2000 Road Friday night. Around 7:20, the car left the road, traveled through a fence, rolled and came to rest on its wheels. Hansen was taken to Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center with a suspected minor injury, while the passenger, 17-year-old Isabelle O'Brien of Chanute, was taken to Labette Health with a suspected serious injury. Hansen was wearing his seatbelt while O'Brien was not.
