Coffeyville fire fighters respond to a house fire in the city.
Yesterday at approximately 2:45pm fire crews were called for smoke in a residence in the 1300 block of West 3rd street. Upon arrival of the First-Engine they upgraded the response to a working fire. Off-duty personnel, along with fire crews from Dearing, Liberty and Coffeyville Resources were also called for assistance. The fire was located in the basement of the residence and was extinguished by fire personnel. The cause was determined to be from spray foam insulation heating up during the application of the foam. Coffeyville Regional Medical Center EMS provided rehab to Fire personnel. The Coffeyville Police Department provided scene control and were assisted by Code enforcement.
