Two are injured after a crash north of Independence.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 25-year-old Braden Bales of Parsons was driving a 2022 Dodge Charger northbound on U.S. 75. and rear-ended a 2010 GMC Acadia driven by 55-year-old Michelle Magner of Neodesha as she was attempting to turn left. Both were taken to an area hospital with suspected minor injuries, and both were wearing their seatbelts.
