Due to the excessive heat across the region, the following events have been canceled, postponed, or rescheduled:
Independence Community College football game against Iowa Central this Saturday: kick off time has been changed to 10am at Shulthis Stadium in Independence
The Coffeyville tree dump will be closed today thru Sunday
The Free Movie Night planned for Saturday evening in Independence has been postponed and rescheduled for September 30th
The Coffeyville Movie Night set for this Saturday has also been postponed. It will be rescheduled at a later date.
The Football Jamboree between, Independence High School, Field Kindley High School and Caney Valley High School has changed its kick-off time. It will now begin at 7:30pm tomorrow night at Shulthis Stadium in Independence.
