Miami High School has rescheduled this Friday's football game against Dewey to September 15th due to the excessive heat. The high school softball team will not play at the Pryor Festival this weekend due to the weather.
The South Coffeyville High School football game against Welch slated for this week has pushed back kick off time to 8pm this Friday.
The Independence Community College football game against Iowa Central Community College set for this Saturday has changed kick-off time due to the heat. The game will now begin at 10am Saturday at Shulthis Stadium in Independence.
The Coffeyville tree dump will also be closed Thursday, August 24, through Sunday, August 27, due to the hot weather.
