The record temperatures continue to scorch northeast Oklahoma.
According to the Miami Mesomet, yesterday was a record-breaking day as the city of Miami broke the all-time high heat index for all of Oklahoma with a recorded heat index of 126.19. This broke the record of 126.0 set in Pauls Valley on July 13th of this year. As the heat wave continues, more records could be broken.
