The Nowata Police Department announces the 4th annual Cops And Kids planned for tonight has been postponed until October due to excessive heat. Moving the event to a time when weather is expected to be cooler will make for a better time for all participants. The event allows local kids to meet and interact with local law officers and have the chance to get an up-close look at police cars and equipment.
