Drivers on U-S 169 near Chanute should drive with caution.

 The Kansas Department of Transportation is repairing damaged girders on the 21st Street bridge over U.S. 169 at Chanute. Northbound traffic on U.S. 169 is restricted to the inside lane on the four-lane section, with a 55 mph speed limit. K-DOT estimates that the work should be finished in about three weeks and advises drivers to proceed with care.
