It was a loud and smokey night yesterday at the grandstand during the demo derby at the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo.

Night one of the demo derby is in the books, and several drivers walked away with some cash.  Tom Anderson took first place in the compact division winning $5,000, Denton Shook took 2nd, Maddog Kegan Bates came in 3rd, Kaleb Hansen took 4th and Brenda Daniels got 5th. The minivans also took to the arena last night, with Mr. Crazy taking 1st place, Logan Anderson in 2nd and Maddog Trevor Raida taking 3rd place.

Night two of the demo derby starts tonight at 6 p.m. and includes a power wheels derby. Gates open at 5 and seats are expected to fill up fast.
