The downtown awning project begins in Coffeyville. Reawkening's Denise York says if you want to get a picture of the awnings downtown, you'll have to do it soon.
As a part of this project, the green spaces along both sides of 9th Street will be removed and new green and sitting areas will be installed. The project will also include the replacement of the three crosswalks on 9th Street.
