The first night of the PRCA Rodeo at the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo is in the books.

Bareback riding started the night, and Gauge McBride took first with 75 points. In steer wrestling, no one got close to beating Lance Volker's 4.8 seconds. In team roping Casey Hicks and Steve Orth took first with 5.2 seconds, closely followed by Wheston Jones and Lane Reeves at 5.5. In saddle bronc riding, John Allen took first at 82 points. In tie-down roping, Riley O'Rourke and Denton Oestmann tied at 8.8 seconds each. Suzanne Brooks led in barrel racing at 17.42 seconds. Riely O'Rourke led again in steer roping with 10.1 seconds in the first round. Chet Herren led the second round at 9.1 seconds, and Cole Patterson took first with 21.9 seconds on two head. Kase Hitt took first in last night's bull riding with a score of 87.5 points. Last night's total payoff was $50,995.
