One is arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop in Labette County.

Earlier this week, Labette County Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop at 19000 and Brown Road. The driver was identified as Robyn Bennett, the passenger as 26-year-old Justin Steele and a juvenile in the back seat. During the stop, K9 Benny did a walk around of the car and indicated the presence of drugs on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Deputies found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and around half an ounce of methamphetamine. Steele was placed under arrest for possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia and endangering a child. Bennett was cited and released.
