The Oswego City Clerk earns a new designation.

 Oswego City Clerk Jennifer Hine has earned the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk. In order to earn the new designation, Hine demonstrated her experience in her municipality and attended extensive education program. The goal of the CMC program is to prepare municipal clerks to meet the demands of their complex role in the city government and to enhance their overall job performance. The C-M-C program has been helping city clerks excel since 1970. Hine was recognized for her efforts at Oswego's August city council meeting.
