Traffic safety is a priority for the Parsons Police Department and the state of Kansas recognizes that commitment.

 The Kansas Department of Transportation awards Parsons Patrol Lieutenant Kyle Wiford with the 2022 Community Traffic Safety Award for the Parsons Police Department. Lieutenant Wiford says the hard work and dedication of his fellow officers in Traffic Safety made the award possible. The P-P-D thanked K-DOT and Drive Safe Kansas for their support.
