The summer has come to and end as many students return back to school this week. AAA Kansas Shawn Steward says drivers need to be aware of kids who are walking, riding bicycles, driving or riding the bus to school.

Steward says drivers need to be mindful around school buses and obey their stop signs.  Steward says to be aware of the time of day you’re on the road and how that coincides with the school day. More school-age pedestrians are killed from 7:00am to 8:00am and from 3:00pm to 4:00pm than any other hours of the day.
