The USD 447 Cherryvale-Thayer School Board met Monday evening to discuss issues for the upcoming school year.

 Among topics of discussion was the current mill levy. District Superintendent Travis Githens says the district did reduce the mill, if only by a small amount. Among other topics discussed by the school board were student enrollment numbers for the upcoming year, building maintenance, and new lights for the baseball and softball fields.
