The city of Fredonia is getting ready for the 25th Annual Wilson County Old Iron Days Festival.
The celebration gives attendees the chance to step back in time and experience the old iron of the past. This year's festival will also include a Cowboy Poetry and Musician Campfire Jam session. Award-winning cowboy poet and event coordinator Mary Powell says several well-known poets will be in attendence. Powell adds that they are still looking for any local cowboy poets and artists to join in so they can exhibit their work. Old Iron Days takes Place September 27th thru 30th in Fredonia.
