Sedan law enforcement conducts an important training exercise.

 The Sedan Police Department,the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and Chautauqua County Emergency Management, participated in a joint training event yesterday. The training is part of an ongoing effort to prepare for emergency events while ensuring potential responses are planned for and practiced. Yesterday's training focused on the initial response to an active threat at the school. The focus of the drill was movement in teams, communication, threat assessment and clearing.
