Three Teens Injured in Crash in Mayes County

 

Four are injured in a two-vehicle crash involving three teenagers in Mayes County. The injury collision happened just after 11:00pm on Highway 412 about half a mile West of Chouteau. A 1995 GMC pickup, driven by a 17-year-old, made a left hand turn into the path of a 1998 Ford pickup. The Ford, driven by 29-year-old Andrew Thompson, struck the GMC, which rolled one-half time coming to rest on its top.

 

The driver of the GMC was transported by MESTA to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in guarded condition with unknown injuries. There were two passengers in the GMC a 15-year-old female and a 14-year-old male. The 15-year-old was transported by Air Evac to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in guarded condition with unknown injuries. The 14-year-old was transported by MESTA to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa and was also admitted in guarded condition with unknown injuries. Thompson was transported by Air Evac to Saint John Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in guarded condition with unknown injuries. Seat belts were in use by all occupants in both vehicles.
