A Chetopa woman is arrested in Parsons on multiple drug-related charges.

Early this morning, a Parsons Police officer pulled over a vehicle on the on-ramp junction of Highway 59 and Hwy 400. During the stop, the officer searched the vehicle finding drugs and drug paraphernalia. 50-year-old Jennifer Lee Williams was taken into custody and transported to the Parsons Police Department.

Williams has recommended charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, hallucinogenic drugs, and stimulants, distribution of stimulants, interference with law enforcement, trafficking contraband into a corrections facility and several traffic-related violations.
