The Coffeyville Boy's and Girl's Club is holding a football game for fifth and sixth-grade students. The camp is tomorrow from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Ise Field. Field Kindley High School Football Coach Deonta Wade says the camp is all about teaching kids about the game of football.
The camp is free to attend and the BGC will supply all the gear for the season except cleats and a mouthpiece. Wade says at the end of the day it's about getting more kids to participate in sports. Wade says some of the other area teams include Independence, Parsons and Pittsburg. A link to sign up for the football team can be found here.
