A shooting in McCune, Kansas this morning leads tho the arrest of the victim's grandfather.
Crawford County Sheriff Danny Smith says the incident took place just before 1:00 at 709 5th Street. The caller, later found out to be the victim's sister, told police that her grandfather had just shot her brother. Deputies found 28-year-old Ian Fox of Lexington outside the residence with a gunshot wound. Life saving measures were attempted, but Ian did not survive.
70-year-old John Fox of McCune was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail.
No other information is being released at this time. The victim is being transported to Kansas City for autopsy.
The investigation is ongoing.
