Cookie lovers, rejoice!

 Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and that means bakers all across the country are celebrating one of America's favorite cookies. Local baker Casey Adolph, owner of Casey's Creations Bakery and Deli in Independence says she's ready for the chocolate chip cookie's big day. the chocolate chip cookies along with the frosted sugar cookies are among her top sellers. Adolph says the great thing about cookies is that there's always something for everyone because everybody has their personal favorite. For those looking for a good excuse to enjoy a cookie and a glass of ice cold milk, today is the day.
