The Montgomery County Action Council names a new director. Melissa Johnson says she moved to Independence 12 years ago and spent the last 10 years working for Southeast KansasWorks.
Johnson says her short-term and long-term goals for this position align with those for MCAC. Johnson takes over for Interim Director Jim Kelly who served in that role after former MCAC Director Riley Lukomski resigned in April.
