The city of Coffeyville will soon have a new location to eat at.

 

Early construction is under way on 11th Street for a new Wendy's location. The site is at the corner intersection of 11th and Elm, between the McDonald's and the Best Western Hotel.

 

Coffeyville Chamber of Commerce President Candi Westbrook says the Wendy's will be a drive-thru location.

 

Historically, building construction takes less time than a full remodeling. Westbrook says more information should be known soon regarding the timeline.

 

There is currently no timetable or completion date known at this time.
