The Independence Police Department is on the move.

 The Independence Police Department has announced via their Facebook page that they are moving back into the 1916 City Hall building today. Due to the move, there may be some disruptions to their non-emergency phone lines. If you need to contact the Independence police and experience problems, try calling 620-332-2503 or 620-331-1482. The emergency lines will NOT experience problems, so if you have an emergency, you should call 9-1-1.
