The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded a boil water advisory for the Cherokee County.

 The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded a boil water advisory for the Cherokee County Rural Water District 9 in Cherokee County. The original advisory was issued due to an equipment malfunction. Water testing has determined that the water is safe and residents no longer need to boil their water.
