The field of candidates has been narrowed down for Neodesha City Commissioner.

The unofficial election results are in from the Wilson County Clerk's Office, and Duane Banzet and Chris Jabben will advance to the general election. Banzet earned 148 votes while Jabben got 130. Coming in behind the top two vote-earners, Ron Cashman received 82 votes while Chanda Shelton got 77 votes. The winner of the November election will fill the seat originally occupied by Tom Nichol, who resigned earlier this year to move to Wichita. Nichol's unexpired term is currently being filled by Emily Vail-Keller.
