Parsons Man Arrested for Second Time in Eight Days

A Parsons man is arrested for the second time in just over a week.

Early this morning, a Parsons Police K9 Officer conducted a traffic stop. Another officer arrived on the scene taking over the stop while the K9 officer deployed K9 Karim to check the vehicle. After Karim hit on the car, officers searched the vehicle and found methamphetamine and paraphernalia. The driver, 44-year-old William Earl Troester Jr was arrested in connection with the items found. This is Troester's second arrest in 8 days.

On July 24th, he was arrested for possession and distribution of drugs. He was charged and given a $25,000 cash surety bond. The Parsons Police Department will again be requesting charges for Troester that include possession of a stimulant and drug paraphernalia, interference with law enforcement, and failure to stop.
