The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has issued a boil water advisory for the Butler County Rural Water District 3 including the city of Cassoday Butler County.  

Residents should boil water for at least one minute before drinking the water, using it for food preparation, or use bottled water instead until further notice. You should also dispose of any ice cubes from trays or automatic ice makers. The water is safe for bathing. The order was issued due to possible contamination due to a loss of pressure during a valve replacement.
