A number of Parsons Police officers and staff are recognized at their city commission meeting.

Sargent Brice Dickens received Officer of the Year, which is selected by administrators, and Supervisor of the Year, which is selected by a vote of their peers. K9 Officer Christian Smith received Shift Partner of the Year, which is selected by a vote of their peers. Officer Rory Johnson received New Officer of the Year, which is presented to an officer with less than 2 years of experience and voted for by their peers.

Administrative Assistant Charlotte Lamb received Citizen Staff Member of the Year, which is a vote of all staff members. Sargent Tony Adamson, Officer Devin Wisdom, Officer Joshua Lindsey, Officer Luke Schibi and Officer Mark Raney were presented with their Field Training completion coins.
