The Caney Police Department warns citizens to make sure their cars are locked at night.  Earlier this morning, Caney PD received a call about a person dressed in all black clothing entering vehicles in the 500 block of South Spring Street, but officers were unable to locate the suspect.

Caney PD is encouraging citizens to make sure their vehicles are locked when parked at their residence or while visiting someone. They also warn to not leave valuables or weapons in vehicles. If anyone sees what they believe to be suspicious activity, call the department at (620)879-2141.
