Legal Battles Continue of Kansas Congressional Redistricting

The legal battle in the state of Kansas when it comes to congressional redistricting continues. Attorney General Derek Schmidt says there are currently three lawsuits pending, one in Douglas County and two in Wyandotte County.

Schmidt says they are going to be arguing that the lawsuits don't belong in state courts and should be thrown out and the opposition will be arguing that they do belong and the map should be thrown out.  The Kansas legislature is currently working on three other redistricting maps, one for each of the state Senate, the State House and the State School Board.
