A new president for Kansas State University has been announced. The new president is the current dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolina State University and a Virginia Tech graduate. Incoming President Richard Linton says K-State is well situated to respond to the needs of Kansans.
Linton says he is hoping to bring some of the success he saw at NC State to K-State. Linton says his immediate goal is to listen and learn about the needs of Kansans and Kansas agriculture. He also wants to address the concerns surrounding infrastructure at K-State. Linton will be the 15th president at the university.
