Three people have been injured in an accident in just north of Girard.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 72-year-old Gerald Greer of Lexington, Oklahoma was driving a 2018 Motorhome northbound in K-7 about six miles north of Girard. For an unknown reason, the passenger side dropped off the road, and Greer over-corrected which caused the motorhome to overturn. Greer suffered minor injuries.
Greer's passengers, 60-year-old Ladonna Carlson-Greer was transported to Freeman Hospital in Joplin with serious injuries and a 14-year-old male was transported to Girard Medical Center with minor injuries. Seatbelts were in use.
