Independence Community Colleges Fab Lab and Kansas State Research and Extension District are teaming up again to provide community education on food security, production, and management. Extension Horticulture Agent Jesse Gilmore will present a workshop on composting to reduce food waste on Wednesday, October 6th at 5 PM.
The composting workshop will provide detailed instructions on how to compost food scraps to reduce landfill waste. The workshop is free of charge and open to the community.
