The Montgomery County Commissioners approved the purchase of two new Mack trucks for Public Works. At past meetings, they gave the approval to start looking, and now the Commissioners gave the approval to purchase the trucks. Engines in other trucks are the cause of new trucks being purchased.
In other news jailers at the jail will now be rapid tested for COVID-19 after one employee had to wait six days for a positive test to come back from the state. The rapid test takes up to 15 minutes to get back.
