A suspect is in custody following a brief manhunt Wednesday afternoon.

Nina Senkbeil had been taken by her father from Sante Fe Park in Chanute. The father, Jacob Senkbeil, was on a supervised visitation when the two disappeared from the park. The two were then seen at a residence in Fall River, Kansas, where the father made comments to a witness that led law enforcement to believe the child is in imminent danger.

Using information provided by residents of Fall River, authorities were able to locate and place the suspect in custody, with the child being located safe as well. The Amber Alert issued yesterday has been canceled.
