The Dick Foster Memorial is this Saturday at 1:00pm in the Nellis Hall Gymnasium. Coffeyville Community College is honoring the late football coach who passed away last October. Coach Foster amassed 146 wins with just 25 losses in his career as a junior college football coach. He is the only head coach in NJCAA history to win a National Championship with two different schools.

While at CCC, the Ravens ranked in the top 15 every year and won the National Championship in 1983. He had an 8-3 record in bowl games. Coach Foster was inducted into the CCC Letterman’s Hall of Fame in 1998 and was selected to the first class of the NJCAA Football Hall of Fame. He was selected as the Junior College Coach of the Year in 1970 and is a member of the Fort Scott Community College Hall of Fame.
