The Miami Police Department is opening an investigation regarding a Facebook video of an assault with a baseball bat.

MPD stated that the video was posted on a "local gossip site" and not reported to the police department. They ask if you have witnessed a crime, to please report it immediately.

MPD said they have identified people involved in the incident, but did not release a name of the person who committed the assault. The victim was identified as Kelli Ross. MPD is unaware of her whereabouts and asks if you know where she is to call the department at 918-542-5585.
