CVR Energy and its partners will be conducting a test of its emergency siren system tomorrow.

The annual siren test will begin at 10 a.m on October 28 in conjunction with a plant evacuation and emergency response team drill. One siren is located west of Linden Street between Fourth and Fifth streets, and the other is located at First and Maple streets. Residents will be further notified through emergency announcements on the KGGF family of radio stations, including 104.1 FM, 98.1 FM, 98.9 FM, and 690 AM. The all-clear message will also play over both the sirens and the radio.

The test is contingent upon safe weather conditions. In case of severe weather, the test will be postponed to a later date.
