The City of Coffeyville is expected to take action on a resolution to encourage housing construction and business development when they meet Tuesday evening.  Commissioners will consider the resolution authorizing the waiver of certain building permits and inspection fees that they hope will encourage construction and development.

In other business, commissioners will hear reports on final assessed valuations, crime statistics from the Coffeyville police department, and an update from the Rec Commission.  They will also consider a resolution authorizing an application for a Safe Routes to School grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation Alternatives Program.

Commissioners will meet at 6:30 Tuesday evening in the Commission Room at City Hall.
