The Past Lives On In Coffeyville

Even though the Dalton Defenders Day was canceled this year due to COVID-19 concerns, the Coffeyville Historical Society has planned an event on Friday and Saturday called “The Past Lives On In Coffeyville.” Kris Crane with the Coffeyville Historical Society explains what this event will entail and examples of who will be there.

Other events coinciding with this event will be the Midland Foundation be showing Ferris Bueller's Day Off on Friday night beginning at dusk and the History Channel's documentary of the 1892 Dalton Gang Raid on Saturday night at around the same time.

Also on Saturday, the Farmer's Market will move closer to the downtown plaza and will begin at 7 am and the Dancing Eagles will perform on the plaza beginning at 11:30 am.

For more information about this event, contact the Dalton Museum at 620-251-0431.
