The K-58 resurfacing projects from Leroy east to U.S. 169 have been postponed until late September or early October. The project was scheduled to begin Monday.

The 15-mile project is planned to start at the west city limits of Leroy and continue east until it hits U.S. 169. The project will take about one month to complete, weather permitting.

Bettis Asphalt & Construction Inc. of Topeka is the contractor on the project, which has a construction cost of $1.1 million.
