The Montgomery County Commission was in session for its weekly meeting this morning (yesterday). Duane Powell of Juvenile Services bring forward the bids they had received for a new vehicle. The commission approved a bid by PERL Chevrolet for a 2017 Ford Escape priced at $15,995. Although the price was lower than the other bids, Powell said the mileage was just as important.

Also, Jim Wright from the Public Works department reported that instead of needing to fill three vacancies as he had previously mentioned, he now needed to fill five.
