Post Office to Provide Optional Delivery Methods

The United States Postal Service is temporarily going to provide alternative methods for delivery to places such as nursing homes, schools, hospitals, etc. in the Coffeyville area.

This is to protect the individuals involved with these establishments as well as staff members to continue to help combat the spread of the Coronavirus.

They have established two alternative methods of delivery. One option would be to set up a mail receptacle outside of the building where the mail would be dropped off. The second option would be to have the Post Office hold your mail and then have it picked up by a designated staff member.

If you are using the option of the outside mail receptacle and you're expecting an over-sized package than you will receive a left notice slip and then your package will be available for pick up at the Post Office.

The change to the delivery methods are temporary until the Coronavirus is no longer an issue. You can contact the Coffeyville Post Office if you have any questions at 620-251-4570.
