A former Coffeyville City Commissioner and current Montgomery County Lieutenant Detective is running for Sheriff. Lt Detective Chris Williams says he's served in law enforcement for 25 years starting out as a patrol officer in 1995.

Willams, who served on the Coffeyville City Commission for 7 years, says his time on the commission gives him an advantage as a candidate for sheriff.  Williams has chosen Chad Dunham to serve as treasurer for his campaign. He joins current Sheriff Ron Wade as a candidate.
