The Wilson County Commission convened for their regularly schedule meeting recently and heard a request from Wilson County Sheriff Pete Figgins.
Figgins presented estimates for two new 2019 Dodge trucks in the amount of $32,500. These will replace the two 2014 Chevy Tahoes with 160,000 & 170,000 miles. One vehicle would be purchased from the Public Safety Fund, and the other would come out of the Sheriff’s budget.
District 2 Commissioner Andrew Miller made a motion to approve the purchase of the two 2019 Dodge 1500 patrol trucks as presented. District 1 Commissioner Jerry Scott seconded the motion, and the motion carried.
